Careers · Founding class
Get paid like an owner.
Commission-only, uncapped, trained from zero. We're building a small founding class of agents across the US who want more than a job.
Read this first
This is a 1099 sales role with no salary. Most people who try it quit. The ones who don't tend to build something they couldn't have built anywhere else.
We'd rather lose you on this page than three months in. If you need a guaranteed paycheck right now, keep your job and start part-time. If you can take rejection, follow a system, and show up when nobody's watching, keep reading.
What you get
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
Uncapped commission
Paid directly by the carriers on every policy you place. Contract levels increase with production, and there's no ceiling on either.
Licensing support
We walk you through your state's pre-licensing course, exam scheduling, and application. Most people are licensed in two to four weeks.
Live weekly training
Product, scripts, illustrations, objections, and live call reviews from producers who are writing business this week.
Mentorship
You're assigned to a founder or senior agent. Not a Slack channel, a person who answers the phone.
Lead systems
Start with your warm market, then move into paid leads and digital outreach once the math works. We show you the cost per acquisition before you spend.
Agency builder track
Consistent producers can recruit and train their own team under Unleash, earning overrides on team production.
Remote-first
Phone, video, and your community. Periodic in-person intensives for the whole team.
Brokerage upside
As Unleash moves to direct carrier contracts, founding agents get first access to the higher contract levels that come with it.
Compensation
How agents actually get paid.
No mystery. Here's the mechanics, in plain English. Every dollar comes from insurance policies sold to clients. Nobody is paid for recruiting.
Carriers pay you
When a policy is issued and the first premium is paid, the carrier pays a first-year commission. It's a percentage of the annual premium, and it's usually advanced, so you're paid up front on months the client hasn't paid yet.
Contract level sets the percentage
Every agent has a contract level, expressed as a percentage. Higher level, bigger share of each premium dollar. You start at a founding-class level and promote on production. Agency builders earn the spread between their level and their team's.
Renewals and chargebacks
Some products pay small renewal commissions in later years. If a client cancels early, the carrier claws back the unearned advance. Persistency matters, which is why we train you to sell the right policy, not the biggest one.
Earnings calculator
Run your own numbers.
Move the sliders. This is the same math we'll walk through on your intro call. It is a hypothetical illustration, not a projection, and we have no data yet on what a typical Unleash agent earns.

Hypothetical only, based on the inputs you chose. Not a projection, promise, guarantee, or statement of typical earnings; Unleash is newly launched and has no agent earnings history. Results depend on licensing, carrier and product mix, persistency, chargebacks, lead and business costs, and the work you put in. Many agents earn less than shown, and some earn nothing. Independent contractor role; commissions are paid by carriers on policies sold to clients, never for recruiting.

Questions
Asked on every intro call.
No. You need a life insurance license in your state to sell, but you don't need one to start the process with us. Most people complete the pre-licensing course and pass the state exam in two to four weeks. We walk you through every step, and we'll tell you honestly what it costs before you spend a dollar.
Be early.
The founding class is small on purpose. If you want to build something instead of joining something, we should talk.
